A world-class catering business

Servair and KLM Catering Services are the Group's two catering subsidiaries. They are responsible for passenger and crew catering, the supply and loading of aircraft and cabin cleaning. This initial offer is supplemented by the supply of newspapers and magazines, the management of onboard sales and assistance for passengers with restricted mobility.

120 airlines call on the services of the Group's catering subsidiaries that have operations in more than 70 airports world-wide. Servair is the catering market leader in France and the number three globally. Improving performance is a priority for this activity with the deployment since 2005 of cost-savings programs, Winning though Change at Servair and Operational Excellence at KLM Catering Services.

Successful penetration of the low cost market with transavia.com

6.7 million passengers traveled with transavia.com in 2008-09. Transavia Netherland and Transavia France, launched in May 2007, are the Group's subsidiaries that share the transavia.com marketing brand. They offer medium-haul flights at low prices while maintaining higher service standards than those of other low cost airlines.

A wider range of leisure destinations

transavia.com offers leisure destinations that are not served by Air France and KLM. This network of leisure destinations, concentrated around the Mediterranean rim, extends the Group's offer. Transavia Netherland offers scheduled flights out of Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam to 25 destinations and charter flights to 73 destinations. Launched in May 2007 in France, Transavia France offers 30 scheduled destinations and charter flights out of Paris-Orly.
